We are a german couple who is interested in reenactment and historical fighting.
Currently Rhoda displays an West Slavic Woman (Germany), ca. IX - X. century (still in work)
Rhoda uses the Ger/Speer in battle and Ludwig the Axe.
He reenacts a male from about 300 A.C. in the region of the Elbe (as favorite and still in work with a lot to do).
We also do different cultures and periods.

For our hobby we sew leather, wool and linen, do smaller metal works, wood and bone carving, naalbinding, drawing/sketching, taking photos and cooking...

This website is for all those interested in reenactment people out there. We hope you enjoy our works and ask many questions to find your inspiration!

While the year has a few more months to pass until it's over we have only one event left to visit. Let's say the season 2014 is over and we met a lot of new people who do lots of wonderful crafting, good fighting and telling stories by the bonfire. We want to thank all the subscribers who left so many positive comments and gave us feedback on our work. This really helps us to develop our work further. At the end of the year we will take photos of our new clothes and accessory we made throughout the year. Something like a Before/After photoshoot. Also we're planning to do a winter revival in Bärnau/Tachov or Düppel in February.

Next weekend we are finally going to Baernau again. With new clothings, new jewellery, a new house to live and cook in, new work to do but same persons like last time. It's the first time we're part of the "Slawentage" (Slavic Days) and we are very exicted about what people we will meet, what they will sell and what inspiration we are going to get there. Of course we'll do lots of pictures. If you like you can visit us!
